Technical Manager to international sales of feed supplements

A central role at R2 Agro, combining the technical knowhow of the products with the commercial value

In our business unit Feed Supplements – functional nutrition solutions – we focus on raising our customers´ awareness of our products, thus generating added value to our customers when using our products – in a sustainable way. You will be part of our Feed Supplements team and will be reporting to the Business Unit Director.   

 We are looking for a skilled and passionate profile within feed products to pigs, poultry, cattle, and fish. If this applies to you and if you are motivated by using your knowledge in the organization, please keep reading.      

 At R2 Agro we have an ambitious growth and development strategy which includes both new products and new markets, and you will play an essential role in this strategy.

 The job and success criteria

Your main responsibility will be technical support to our product portfolio. This requires that:

  • You can provide technical support to our distributors and regional managers, and participate in customer meetings and technical fora

  • You are able to communicate your knowledge both in marketing material and articles in international magazines

  • You participate in exhibitions and conferences all over the world – both as a participant, but also as a speaker

  • You will have a key role in designing and coordinate trials of feed supplements in different countries both on research and farm facilities.

You will keep yourself updated with the latest knowledge, legislation, and trends to serve relevant information and for product development.

 To succeed in the job

Your ability to and interest for communicating technical product knowhow is very essential in this job – and you will of course be thoroughly trained. You will be challenged by specialists; therefore, it is important that you are able to go into technical material in depth with a sense for detail.

You are also curious about the use of the products; that there is a connection between product and effect, both financially for the customer and for R2 Agro.

You are proactive and is motivated by having significant influence.

It is evident that you are prepared to have some travel activity – app. 50 to 70 travel days per year – mostly to Southeast Asian markets. We expect that your English skills are at a high level – and maybe you speak another language?

You have an education within agriculture/farm animals or similar – maybe you are newly graduated? You may also have acquired a solid technical foundation via experience.

Your daily work will take place as a part of a small technical team with responsibility of your regions. You will work together supporting each other on tasks and share knowledge within the group. You will also experience close dialogue with the remaining colleagues of the company resulting in various work assignments around technical part of products.

 You will very quickly notice the informal atmosphere in the whole organisation. We are located in Hedensted, close to the motorway, and work in pleasant premises.
